John Dove, a seasoned criminal barrister with over a decade of legal experience, founded Speed Mooting in 2012 to help aspiring lawyers develop oral advocacy skills. Under his leadership, it has become the UK’s leading provider of mooting competitions and advocacy training.
Respected for his practical insights and approachable teaching style, John envisions Speed Mooting as a space for building confidence, skills, and connections. Alongside coaching, he continues to practice law, bringing real-world expertise to every session.
