Before you cancel
Are you sure you want to step away?
If you are thinking about cancelling, it may be worth taking a moment first. Speed Mooting is built to support your advocacy development flexibly, even when you are busy, stretched, or not attending every live session.
What you still have access to
Your membership is more than live sessions.
Even if you have not used the Academy as much as you planned, there is still practical value available to you. The membership is designed to support your development around your own schedule.
Courses you can revisit
Work through advocacy and mooting content in your own time, without needing to be available at a specific hour each week.
Feedback you can learn from
John’s feedback from sessions can help you understand what strong advocacy looks like, even when you were not there live.
A growing membership
The Academy and Community Hub are continually developing to make the membership more useful, flexible and accessible.
Small steps still count.
You do not need to be using the Academy perfectly to benefit from it. Even 20–30 minutes when you can can help you build stronger submissions, more confident delivery and better advocacy habits over time.
If time is the issue
Use the Academy in short sessions and catch up on materials when your schedule allows.
If cost is the issue
The membership is already priced as low as possible to remain accessible, but a temporary pause may give you breathing room.
If now is just not the right moment
A two-month pause may be a better option than cancelling completely and having to start again later.
You can keep your progress open.
If you still want to build your advocacy confidence, staying on or pausing may be the better decision. Cancellation is always an option, but it does not need to be the first one.
